Our renovation process is managed by Kelly Gordon who has been in the home renovation industry for over 20 years. We are a family-operated residential building company who take pride in our team and projects.

Kelly’s building journey began in England where he completed his apprenticeship. Moving back to Auckland 10 years ago, he has developed a strong network of trusted tradespeople and suppliers. As owner and builder, Kelly leads by example and only delivers the best result for his clients. He lives in West Auckland with his wife and baby and enjoys family time on the weekend alongside his passion for surfing.

Below is our standard renovation process you can expect from the Reliable Renovations team.

Renovation Process

Enquiry

When we receive your initial enquiry, Kelly Gordon, our managing director, will give you a call to talk through your renovation project. He will provide a general idea of cost and timeframes.



Site Visit

After the initial phone conversation, Kelly will visit your home to review the renovation space and listen to your needs. He will provide any guidance and/or ideas at that time to ensure everyone is on the same page before writing a Scope of Works for approval.

Contract

Once the Scope of Works has been agreed upon, a contract will be sent for approval which details the payment plan. Once sign and the first deposit paid, your renovation start date is reserved.





Renovation

The renovation will begin on the designated start date outlined in the contract. All tradespeople and homeowners are to follow our health and safety policy to ensure the renovation process runs smoothly.

Completion

Once the renovation project is complete, we will do a final walk through with the customer. All building work is backed by our Licensed Building Practitioner 10 year guarantee.


